Crawford's Restaurant

I am heartbroken to say that today the Crawford family and Crawford's Restaurant lost our matriarch, Janice Crawford.

We are so grateful for the time, love, and care that she showed each and every one of us. I know, for me, I am going to miss our phone calls the most—always giving her a hard time, joking with her, and picking on her. The biggest compliment she could ever give me was her laughter. When I could make her laugh or when she would tell me I reminded her of my Paw Paw, it meant the world to me.

I am grateful to know that she is now at peace in the presence of our Savior, Jesus Christ, and reunited with my Paw Paw. He gets to see his true “Pride and Joy” again.

There is one story about something that happened to me at one of my jobs that, to this day, I could tell her, and she would almost fall over laughing. I am sure going to miss hearing that laugh.

Maw Maw, I love you. Thank you for loving me unconditionally and for always being there whenever I—or any of us—needed you. You will be deeply missed, but your love, kindness, and the memories you gave us will stay with us forever. Until we meet again.
