Meet the Cadre: Brandon Paddock

We’re proud to have Brandon Paddock of the St. George Fire Department (Baton Rouge) as a member of the Wood’s Forcible Entry Cadre.

Since beginning his fire service career in 2009, Brandon has built an impressive foundation of experience, earning certifications including FF I/II, Hazmat Operations, Officer I/II, Instructor I/II, Safety Officer, Live Fire Instructor, and more. He also holds an Associate of Fire Science from Columbia Southern University and a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science from Auburn University.

When he’s not on the job or teaching, Brandon enjoys spending time with his wife, Lauren, and their children, Adyson, Hadley, and Lincoln. You’ll also find him hunting, fishing, hiking, or coaching and cheering on his kids in wrestling and soccer.

When asked what he enjoys most about being part of the Wood’s Forcible Entry Cadre, Brandon’s answer says it all: “The camaraderie. Everyone has the same goal in mind—to share knowledge and passion for the job and pass it down to others.”

That commitment to the craft and to the next generation of firefighters is exactly what makes our cadre special.
