As a former caregiver one of the biggest lessons I learned was how to take time to celebrate myself! I had to constantly remind myself that I was doing a great job with my mom, my kids, and myself! Even though life was hard I had to make time to celebrate myself!

Sometimes taking care of a loved one or a patient means rectifying damage others did. Recently we had a patient who had an ingrown toenail. The patient had her nails cut professionally but they went too far. The doctors office was closed so we started some homeopathic remedies until the patient could get some antibiotic. We started with foot baths combined with epson salt! The next day the patient visited the doctor and was treated with antibiotics. Nail health is extremely important be sure to visit the podiatrist or your p*p for support!
