A glimpse into the night that brings Baton Rouge together for something bigger than ourselves.
This is what you have to look forward to on August 15, 2026. ✨
On November 25, 2025, the Capital Gala community turned generosity into real impact.
Because of the support behind last year’s event, we were able to make a lasting contribution to Our Lady of the Lake Cancer Institute and The Bowman Foundation.
In the months since, these funds have gone directly toward patient-facing care, supporting improvements patients can see and experience, as well as critical support for the infusion center.
As we move further into this year’s Capital Gala, this impact becomes our foundation. Every ticket, every table, and every dollar raised will continue that work, turning generosity into care, progress, and hope for the year ahead.

Today is World Cancer Day.
A day to pause, to honor, and to stand in solidarity with every patient, every family, and every medical professional walking this journey.
Cancer impacts all of us, but so does hope. And hope is built through action, investment, and coming together.
On this World Cancer Day, we reaffirm why we fight.
We fight for access.
We fight for compassion.
We fight for progress.
And most importantly we fight together.
