Please join us in welcoming Madelyn to Bonton Associates as our new Project Associate.
After interning with us in the summer of 2025, Madelyn is officially returning to the team following her graduation from LSU with a degree in Environmental Engineering.
She's excited to see the projects she works on come to life, and we're excited to have her helping shape the future of the communities we serve.
Welcome back, Madelyn!

Our Clean Water Shreveport team recently joined Shreveport Green for the Block by Block Clean Sweep, spending the day helping remove litter from neighborhoods throughout the city.
Supporting clean water means more than designing and maintaining infrastructure. It also means investing in the communities those systems serve.
We're proud to be part of an effort that helps keep Shreveport cleaner, healthier, and more resilient.
Thank you to Shreveport Green and everyone who volunteered their time to make a difference.
If you're looking for ways to get involved in your community, be sure to check out their page to learn about upcoming volunteer opportunities and how you can make a difference. www.shreveportgreen.org

There is no universal roadmap because there is no universal community.
Growth patterns differ. Funding sources differ. Environmental conditions differ. Community priorities differ.
The strongest infrastructure plans are not built from assumptions. They're built from understanding the people, places, and challenges that make each community unique.

Communities are stronger when people have choices in how they move.
Not every trip requires a car, and the most successful transportation networks recognize that. By creating safe, comfortable connections for multiple modes of travel, communities can improve access to destinations, support local activity, and enhance quality of life.
Transportation is ultimately about connecting people to opportunity.

We are proud to support Southern University and A&M College - Baton Rouge, LA as it moves forward with a new student housing development on campus.
Adding student housing is more than a construction project. It supports enrollment growth, strengthens campus life, and helps create the environment students need to succeed.
This project is especially meaningful for Bonton Associates because many members of our team are Southern University alumni. Being part of work that invests back into the Bluff is something we do not take lightly.
We are excited to contribute to a project that supports the continued growth of this great institution.
Southern University and A&M College to break ground on new student housing development Southern University and A&M College, the flagship of the Southern University System, is a historically Black, 1890 Land-Grant Institution. The University provides opportunities for a diverse student population to achieve a high-quality, global educational experience, to engage in scholarly research....

The best infrastructure solutions often go unnoticed because they simply work.
Thoughtful transportation design helps communities move more safely, comfortably, and confidently every day.

Cleaner stormwater starts on every block.
Every storm drain in our neighborhoods connects directly to a bayou, canal, or river, which means what we leave in the street can end up in the same water we use and enjoy. When we keep pollution out of gutters, pick up litter before it reaches a drain, and clean up after our pets, our everyday habits start working with the stormwater system instead of against it.
When we understand how the system works and why it matters, we can be part of the solution, and small, consistent actions across our parish add up to cleaner water and healthier places to live.
Those pipes and pumps you may notice near neighborhoods, canals, or roadways are often part of a pump station system.
This is a look inside the control room where operators monitor and manage the equipment that helps move stormwater through the system during heavy rain events.
These facilities play an important role in supporting drainage across the parish.

Standards are not set once; they are set every day. In the quiet, in front of a screen, details get challenged, assumptions get rewritten & the bar moves a little higher than it was yesterday, until "better" is no longer the goal but the starting point.
