We also appreciated the valuable time spent with students from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU), which created space for thoughtful dialogue and meaningful exchange. The conversation highlighted the important role business aviation plays within our communities and the breadth of career opportunities across the industry.

As the industry works to address growing workforce shortages, continued engagement with students and educators is essential. Recent interactions through University Aviation Association and opportunities to connect with ERAU and other aviation universities reinforce the importance of building early awareness, strengthening pathways into aviation careers, and maintaining strong industry-academic collaboration.

Dan brings over 30 years of aviation leadership experience from Epps Aviation and Aero Centers. He’s an FAA DAR-T, ASNT NDT Level III, and serves as Vice Chair of the NATA Maintenance Committee.
