Clarence’s Really Simple Movie Reviews- Captain America: Brave New World= Good. I’ve never been one to take the word of critics and I’m getting to the same point with many of these movie YouTubers. So many YouTubers were trashing this movie and it turns out that it was pretty good! At minimum it’s a 7/10. Good acting, good plot, good action and I was never bored! It is better than most Phase 4 MCU movies. Anthony Mackie did a good job as Cap. All of the actors gave good performances but Carl Lumbly as Isiah Bradley was outstanding in his role. Harrison Ford did a great job taking over as Thunderbolt Ross. The film centers around the fight for control of Adamantium, freeing Lumbly’s Isiah Bradley character (We have to get a Disney+ TRUTH series with him!)and is also a revenge story for The Leader from the first Hulk film. Whatever problems they had with the story and shooting in pre production was fixed so they did a good job of blending all three themes. The fight scenes in the movie were very well done! One of my concerns was how would they do a believable fight scene between Sam’s Cap and the Red Hulk. They pulled it off! Sam DOES need to eventually take the serum though, (maybe during Doonsday?) Again, we need to start putting some YouTubers in the same vein as other critics. Go see it for yourself. You’ll enjoy it!
