Our Story

Ryan “Boomer” Boomhower's 3rd Heart Tattoo LLC is a tattoo studio in downtown Washougal, WA, where people both new to tattoos and seasoned collectors of tattoos are able to work with Boomer and 3 other artists to receive permanent works of art on ones body.
We are open Tuesdays through Saturdays 11am to 5pm. The business provides custom tattoo work ranging from small introductory tattoos to half day sessions with the artists.
The artists can offer consultation and design recommendations as needed to help the clients understand design theory and proper design to body aesthetics. This is important in giving the client the best tattoo design possible. “I feel that including the client in the process really makes them own the tattoo and own the experience of getting a tattoo at 3rd Heart Tattoo.

We have custom tattoo related artwork including oil paintings, pencil drawings, water color paintings and some small carved or painted wooden pieces, as well as the art of the tattoo artists, up for sale in the studio.
