Appling County Middle School

Today, we proudly honored several outstanding educators and staff members at Appling County Middle School for their years of dedication and service to our students and school community.

Recognized during today’s celebration were our 2026 retirees:

🍎 Mrs. Dana Rentz – 7th Grade ELA Teacher
🍎 Mr. Nick Mathews – 7th Grade Teacher
🍎 Mrs. Karen Swain – 8th Grade Science Teacher

We also recognized Mrs. Lacey Hunter as she prepares for her transition to Appling County High School as receptionist.

Dr. Campbell, principal of ACMS, presented each honoree with a gift and shared heartfelt (and humorous) words of appreciation and farewell in recognition of the lasting impact they have made on Appling County Middle School throughout the years.

Thank you for your dedication, compassion, and commitment to our students and school family. Your influence will continue to be felt for years to come. We wish our retirees a joyful retirement and Mrs. Hunter continued success in her new role!
