Just after 12pm today The Kings Park Fire Department was dispatched to a vehicle fire in the driveway of a home on Ninth Avenue. Rubbish was discovered burning in the trunk and firefighters quickly extinguished with a booster line.

The East Farmingdale Fire Company and mutual aid departments are responding to a commercial structure fire at Two Brothers Scrap Metal, located at 12 Sarah Drive. Multiple hand lines and tower ladders are currently in operation.

On Friday July 10th, 2026 at 12:03am Detroit Firefighters were called to Rossini Drive for a reported dwelling on fire. Engine 58 was first due and stretched. The fire was quickly extinguished and units returned to service shortly thereafter.

On Tuesday morning, The East Brentwood Fire Department was dispatched to a reported building fire on Suffolk Avenue. Firefighters arrived to find no building on fire however a large pile of mulch and logs burning. Alongside numerous mutual aid departments, multiple tower ladders and hand lines were put into operation to extinguish the fire.
