Hi friends! Wanted to share a post about some commonly used Pilates terms that could be not so common if you’re new to Pilates . I feel like an important part of practicing a skill is to understand the language used within it. Focusing less on what Pilates looks like and more on what it feels like these days. That mind body connection is such an important part of Pilates that I feel like isn’ t talked about enough. I hope these bite-sized definitions help guide you through your practice. Class starts @ 6pm and sign up will be available 7 days prior to class @ essenceandflow.com . It’s donation based and you can pay at the door if you choose to do so. I’ll set a reminder closer to the date but put it in your calendars if you can! 🤍✨ Hope to see your lovely faces there and celebrate our bodies with a nice classical flow. All you need to bring is a mat and wear clothes you are comfortable moving around in. Class will be around 45 minutes long with time to socialize and have a snack after. See y’all on the mat.
