Offshore Sessions

I’ve gotten so many sweet words for clients - old and new - as I’ve been delivering Holiday photos. Things including “it’s so hard to get shots of our crew together…we absolutely love them!” and commenting on how I did so nicely even though the kids were a little wild. Here’s the thing: whether they want to cheese calmly for the camera, or they practiced their best cheese face at home but when you got to the farm all they wanted to do was chase trees and try to eat a leaf or two, this is them NOW and it’s perfect! My method for photography for this reason is always a mix between posed and candids because well, as a mom of a very active and opinionated toddler myself, I know dang well posing kids ain’t always easy. That’s why we TRY for the smiling at the camera photo but we never force it! Kids feed off of our energy for sure, so if they’re not feeling it and they just want to play, that’s okay! Let the photo session, even if it’s just 15 minutes, be a fun experience. Let them smile, run…all of it. I’ll be there to document all of the smiles, chaos and everything in between ❤️

Oh, what a day for Caroline & Jon 🫶🏼

The hardest part of my job for this wedding - picking photos for a post. They had the most special day on the beach with their family, friends, and their pups. Caroline, who’s also super talented ( !!) hand wrote place cards for each guest and made the resin for her own decor. She saved flowers and dried them for years for her flower girl to use. Caroline walked down the aisle with her proud dad to the Jurassic Park theme song to Jon, who she just knew she’d marry. They said the most heartfelt vows with not a dry eye in place, hidden behind hand made sunglasses paired with smiles on every face. Their puppos Jiffy and Tanya were the goodest girls, helped Caroline get ready, walked Jon down the aisle and crashed the reception. The dance floor was never empty. The Disney references by the man of honor and officiants were not in short supply, and Jon absolutely Kissed the Girl! Congratulations to Jiffy and Tanya, oh…I mean Caroline and Jon, on forever!!!! ❤️

Oh how excited I am to post this…one of my favorite little dudes Chase is gonna be a BIG BROTHER! From the moment I met the Covas crew, walking into their house with Rangers decor and a funny but appropriately worded candle about the “becoming parents and sh*t,” I knew they would be instant besties. Well now they’re gonna be parents and sh*t x2, and I couldn’t be more stoked for them 😍

I first talked to Alex when he was planning to propose to Jess, his girlfriend. Met them both in person seconds after they sealed the deal on forever with a beautiful ring on the beach. That girlfriend Alex first messaged me about - she’s now his gorgeous wife, mama to their first babe, and carrying their second child. This was such a sweet time to capture for them in cozy outfits on a sunny fall afternoon, digging in the sand with big sis M and anticipating their newest little 🥹
