Happy Friday! This week's is the Blackcheek Tonguefish, which can be found from New York down to the Florida Keys and the northern Gulf of Mexico. Blackcheek Tonguefish are found in shallow coastal waters and estuaries, on soft muddy bottoms and feed on small crabs and other invertebrates.

Calling all aspiring young pirates! We will be hosting our Pint-Sized Pirates program, which introduces our youngest community members to the Hudson River. See (and maybe touch!) Hudson River fish, tour the deck of a historic tall ship, read a fishy book, sing a sea shanty, and enjoy the river. This program is for little pirates ages 3-6 and an adult.

Join the Clearwater dockside on July 8 at 10am in Cold Spring. The program is $15 per adult/child pair.
