It is HOT out there, Beaver Falls.

Inside the studio? Clay stays cool, the conversation's good, and there's always a seat at the table.

Members have 24/7 access — wheels, kilns, and glazes for potters, open studio space for painters and mixed media artists. Skip the heat. Come make something.

Buy art from artists. 🖤

It’s a little phrase with a big heart behind it. Every handmade mug, bowl, and canvas that comes out of this studio was made by a real person’s hands — and supporting that work keeps makers making.

Stray Cat runs on a simple idea: art is for everyone, and a creative community is worth protecting. People, place, and planet — we try to look after all three. Small art center, BIG heart.

Come make something with us. And buy something from us. You can start with Beth's exhibit tonight. Doesn't your home office need a salamander??

One night only: artist Beth Barbis brings Pennsylvania's most elusive river dweller to life.

Watercolor and pyrography artist Beth Barbis is opening a one-night exhibition at Stray Cat Studio — a whole show devoted to the Eastern hellbender.

If you've never heard of it: the hellbender is North America's largest salamander and Pennsylvania's official state amphibian. A big, secretive creature that hides in our rivers and almost never lets itself be seen. Beth has captured it in watercolor and woodburning — strange, beautiful, and full of character.

Come see the work in person, meet the artist, and spend an evening with these remarkable animals.
