Happy Raspberry Sweets

So this first photo was shared in some of my baking community groups and it reminded me of something I get asked about a lot. The conversation with new/potential clients usually goes "my child loves the ones at Starbucks, can you make them just like theirs?"

My answer is....no. No, I don't make mine just like theirs for many reasons. First, the company that makes the cake pops for SB mass produces them and puts in so many additives and preservatives to lengthen their life that it just makes me cringe. The company put out an article how they make them and when they send them out and it may shock you to know that by time you buy one in the coffee shop, its been made at least TWO months before you eat it. Now I know many cake poppers that premake and freeze their pops, but usually never that long ahead and surely don't have a bunch of preservatives in them. For me, mine are made fresh no more than the day before they get into your hands.

Second, good for the company for finding a shape that can work for so many designs. The same one here is also their shape for an owl, tiger, bee, and a few others. There's not the same love, time and dedication into making these edible pieces of art.

So I ask you, do you still want them made the same way?

Business logos on cake pops are perfect for so many reasons! Great to pass out at events and creative way to dress up your treats for sales meetings.
