Location: Wilsonville, OR
Description:

Grinding and weld prep on cutters using hand air grinder, per procedure
Welding hard face on cutters
Grinding profile on cutters using hand air grinder; and profile grinder
Use of air hoist and fork lift.
Operation of cutting torch and propane pre-heat
Responsible for checking and verifying quality of all personal welds
Assure that area is kept in a clean and orderly manner
Responsible for identifying cutter size and sweep size
Maintain welder, tip, gun, and hood

Multiple Day and Swing Shift Openings at Precision Machining Shop in Tualatin. OR. Full time with benefits

Position: CNC Mill Set-up Machinist

Shifts:

Day 6am-2:30pm

Swing 2:30pm-11pm

Must Haves:

 Intermediate up to Journeyman level CNC Mill Machining Experience (Journeyman here = Vertical & Horizontal - Can hand the individual a set up book and they can run them all from start to finish)

 Process Oriented & must be willing to adapt to established processes (Well established / Large HQ in Cali and processes must be the same at both locations)

 Sense of Urgency - Agreements with large semiconductor customers in the area so deadlines are critical and quality must be upheld.

Summary of Responsibilities:

 Short run, precision CNC Machining and responsible for 1st runs

 CNC Machinist position sets-up and operates CNC and machining centers to fabricate precision machined metallic and non-metallic parts

 Machining Equipment includes vertical milling, horizontal milling, turning centers, turn/mill centers, and multi-axis machines.

 Specializing in setting up mill turn sub spindle live tooling lathes with minimal or no supervision from start to finish, while operating the machine to utilize the entire spectrum of the machine tool capabilities.

 Individual will work closely with Programming and Manufacturing Manager to provide constant feedback on cycle time reduction, machine optimization while manufacturing Quality parts on time and to customer’s specifications.

 Will provide guidance and instruct other machine operators, machinists, or other personnel, as assigned.

 Provides input to programmers and other technical personnel

 May be assigned to program CNC machines and machining centers utilizing CAD, CAM software.

 Collaborates with other personnel/departments, as required/assigned, providing input to, and integration with machining, CNC programming, CMM programming, engineering, inspection, manufacturing, and quality personnel.

 This position is responsible for ensuring efficient production, on-time delivery, and that quality of products meets the customer specifications.
