Here’s a little trivia for you! Did you know “Moon Patrol,” released in 1982 is widely considered the first video game to use parallax scrolling? Technically “Jump Bug” was the first but it only kept the stars in place while clouds went by. Moon Patrol was the real deal, and was very impressive when it first came out!

Thirty of us walked into the theater... and somehow we all made it out!

A huge thank you for the special premiere screening of **Evil Dead Burn**! The crews from Time Rift Arcade and Electric Starship Arcade had an absolute blast, and if you're an Evil Dead fan, this is one you won't want to miss. It's packed with everything you'd hope for from the franchise!

Electric Starship Arcade & Time Rift Arcade!

Every year, it's become a tradition for our family and staff to wrap up the day at the Hurst Stars & Stripes Fireworks Show, and we'd love for you to join us!

Best of all, the event is completely FREE to attend, making it a great way to spend your Friday evening with family and friends.

🎮 Friday, July 3rd
We'll be open from 12:00 PM–6:00 PM, then we'll close early so everyone can head over to the festivities.

Event Schedule
🕠 5:30 PM – Gates Open
🎸 6:15 PM – Grady Spencer & The Work perform live
🎶 8:00 PM – The Q Band takes the stage
🎆 9:30 PM – Fireworks Show
There will be live music, food trucks, carnival rides, vendors, and one of the best fireworks shows in DFW. While admission is completely FREE, you may want to bring a little cash (or a card) if you'd like to grab some food, enjoy the rides, or shop with the vendors.

🚍 Parking is available at North East Mall, with free shuttle buses taking guests to and from the park.

Then on Saturday, July 4, we'll be back to our regular summer hours:

We hope you'll spend part of your holiday weekend with us at the arcade, then come celebrate America's birthday with us under the fireworks. It's one of our favorite traditions every year, and we'd love to see some familiar faces there.
