Our favorite part of any pet relocation is the happy messages from the pawrent after the pet’s move.

Remember, acclimatizing dogs and cats to their new home after the move is just as important as preparing for the pet move itself. Culture shock is real for pets, too, especially after international pet moves.

After your pet’s move abroad:

🐾 Stick to their existing routine
🐾 Keep their familiar things around.
🐾 Create a dedicated retreat space.
🐾 Keep their diet consistent.
🐾 Use treats to build positive associations.
🐾 Introduce new things one at a time.
🐾 Work with a trainer if needed.
