Cupping Therapy to Relieve Low Back Pain in a 38 y.o. Weightlifter
Therapeutic cupping techniques are great treatment modalities for relief of common conditions that are typically found in many active, everyday working athletes who experience aches and pains due to muscular dysfunction.
It’s primary purpose is to provide increased blood flow to injured tissues, rid toxins of the body, treat inflammation, and facilitate the return of normal muscle function.
While commonly utilized for treatment of back pain, it can also be used in various areas such as the shoulders, thighs, or hamstrings and can be added to any body maintainence program to promote healing.
