Windows 10 Free Upgrade Offer End Date Announced — July 29, 2016

Microsoft has announced that the free upgrade to Windows 10 currently available to Windows 7 and Windows 8 users at no cost, will end on July 29, 2016. If you’ve been waiting, the time has come. Microsoft will support Windows 7 and Windows 8 until 2020 and 2023 respectively, while those who upgrade to Windows 10 have a scheduled end of support date of 2025. If you’re thinking or have been waiting to make the jump to Windows 10, the time is now… or sometime prior to July 29, 2016 anyway or it will cost you about $100.00, the customary price of a legitimate copy of Windows.
