Last week, I had the opportunity to present a virtual session on "Strategies for Managing Challenging Behaviors" as part of the Certified Community Leadership Practitioner (CCLP) program offered by the Association of Leadership Programs.

I want to express my gratitude to Jessie Baginski, Ph.D., Director of Programs, for the opportunity to present alongside John Yeager and Lyanh Ramirez Gentile on such an important and timely topic.

One of my favorite parts of my work is seeing those “light-bulb” moments 💡

You know the kind—when someone suddenly sees a new (or clearer) way to work with a colleague, lead their team, or approach a situation. Those moments are always inspiring.

Over the past few weeks, I had the chance to work with two teams from the Port of Bellingham—Maritime and Senior Leadership (pictured below). Both groups showed up fully, engaged in great conversations, and walked away with some powerful insights.

It’s a good reminder that even small shifts in how we understand ourselves and others can make a big difference in how we work together.
