COVID-19 -- In response to police officers arresting parents in front of their children at local parks, and citations being given to people at church services...

Im all for letting people make their own choices regarding their health and that of their children, especially when it involves constitutional rights. I believe that forced containment/confinement/control is not near as effective as education. Perhaps if we reshaped our thinking of police responsibilities, moving away from law "enforcement" to law "support," we might have less friction and more unity between police and our society. Would it not be a better world if the officers were handing out masks and hand sanitizer at the parks or church services? What about distributing educational materials on hand washing and virus facts? Their actions would have transcended the public feeling the usual "injustice" of arrests, courts, and fines, to the public experiencing an act of caring and empowerment for healthier living.

We are now willing victims due to violence and loss of personal freedoms perpetrated by our government. This is AGAIN due to fear, just like post 9/11. Mark my words, politicians will use this pandemic to expand the control and constriction of our constitutional rights by various existing and new government agencies.

Think I'm overreacting? Wait until you start to see people rounded up because they are suspected of being ill or related to (or had contact with) someone suspected of being ill. Contact tracing is an old idea that is getting a lot of new attention. We can't trace everyone, or can we?...it's where we are headed.

My contention is simply this...we should see our government and police as help, not hurt. There is enough hurt out there already.

Cheers, now go wash your hands.

What is sadness? What is the purpose of sadness in my life?

Yeah so maybe back in the day of our cave person selves there could have been fight or flight benefits. Even I can think of ways sadness is helpful in my daily life. For example, i write my best songs when I'm either very happy or very sad. "A lot of good that does me," you tell me, "I don't play guitar.".

Think of sadness as a measuring device it lets us know just how much we appreciated something, or someone, and therefore gives us a game plan for the future. For those people or things that are important to us it always surprises me just how much time we spend feeding the b******* meter.

Take an inventory of your top three sadness switches. Are they relevant to what you want for your life? Can you be honest with them and they with you? All questions answered can prepare you 4 real meaningful honest interactions. All you have to do is ask.

Giving it to you straight means telling the truth, but it seems that people gravitate to lies. This can be seen in our banking system with how large corporate banks make promises with one side of their face and break them with the other side. We have slowly let these American institutions take away our rights, and have reached the point where we have few rights and are at their complete mercy! Check out this guy's story about Chase Bank. I listened to his questions and gave him some advice, and I thought I'd share his story with you.

"CHASE BANK just froze my personal accounts, closed my business accounts, and made my debit cards invalid because I made a deposit of $2,000 from two checks written by a customer to me that they said were fraudulent. The funds have CLEARED and been in my account for over a week. The customer and his/her bank has nothing to say after a full business week of the money being taken from his/her account. CHASE BANK reps say that I am under review for fraud. The thing is that I have NEVER had a bounced check nor fraudulent activity in my banking history, nor customer complaint, nor attempt to reverse funds, nor cancel check. Nothing. EVER!! CHASE BANK reps who are supposed to be looking out for me, the customer, say that they need to call my customer to verify that he/she wrote the checks and that ALL of my banking is frozen until they do verify. They tell me they will close my account if she does not answer her phone and answer their questions. They are asking questions like "What are the checks for?" which is NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS. All of my other deposits are being kept by CHASE frozen, and all auto payments are being delayed or bouncing, causing me hundreds in fees. CHASE BANK has seriously hampered my livelihood because they have rendered my websites useless not able to generate income. I am not able to pay bills or make deposits with autopay or debit, and I can't get my own money (even monies other than the $2K deposit). CHASE BANK continues to STEAL MY MONEY (it's not their money) and treat me like a criminal. I asked why out of millions of checks that fly by do they need to call the check writer for this particular check, asked WHAT PROOF they have of fraud, asked how they determined that there was even a risk and they tell me "nothing." They just "need to verify or else." DO NOT TRUST YOUR MONEY WITH THIS CORPORATION, THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU AND RESERVE THE RIGHT TO STEAL YOUR MONEY, RUIN YOUR CREDIT AND BANKING WITHOUT CAUSE, LET YOUR FAMILY GO HUNGRY AND NOT EVEN TELL YOU WHY." I am going to post a YouTube video telling my story, and start a campaign to DROP CHASE BANK. ..."

Feel free to post your thoughts, but no rude talk as we are all on the same side, which is, the side opposite Chase Bank.
