On Sunday, May 31, from 4 pm to 8 pm, we will host a Celebration of the Life of Scot Casey. Bring a memory, a song, a poem, a reflection or your self, and together we will bask in the afterglow of our dear Friend, Singer, Poet, Philosopher, Soul Searcher, and Wanderer. Honey Moon will provide barbecue that we hope will approach Scot’s impossibly high standards.

Dear Honey Moon Family,

With heavy hearts, we are writing to share the sad news that our dear friend, Scot Casey, died suddenly Thursday, April 9, 2026, at his home in Otter Point, ME. He was 64 years old. Scot is survived by his sister, Shannon Casey, of Bellingham, and by countless friends here, there, and everywhere. We are shocked and saddened at Scot's passing, but also filled with gratitude for the time that we shared with him, for his generous spirit, and for the legacy of creative connection he leaves in his wake. He was deeply loved by so many of us. There will be a celebration of Scot's life at Honey Moon in the coming weeks. In the meantime, wherever you are, please raise a glass to Scot Casey and toast the passing of a great soul.
