COVID-19 / Coronavirus update:

At this time we are continuing to see patients as scheduled. We are taking extra precautionary measures to ensure our facility stays clean, with hourly disinfecting wipe-downs and extra sterilization in between patients.

We are asking patients to cancel or reschedule if they:

- Have a fever or cough, or has been exposed to anyone who has
- Have COPD or emphysema
- Are currently living in a long term care facility or nursing home
- Are uncomfortable coming in for their appointment

The safety and well-being of our patients and our staff is at the forefront of our minds. We will alter our course of action as the situation develops.

After nearly 50 hard-working years practicing opthamology, our beloved founder Dr. Robert Alan will be retiring. Practicing in Bellingham since 1972, Dr. Alan has reached the hearts of countless Whatcom and Skagit county patients.

Dr. Alan's final day will be Wednesday, December 18th.

Although we will all be sad to see him go, he will now have plenty of relaxation time to enjoy fly fishing, golfing, and spending time with his family.

Thank you for your years of care and dedication, Dr. Alan!
