Whiskey Prison 12/10/2021

The award-winning band, the Stillhouse Junkies, will be performing next Tuesday, December 14th at The Shakedown. Come out and say "Howdy" to them and tell them how excited we are to have them in the lineup for the 2022 North Cascades Bluegrass Festival. As usual, all proceeds from the NCBF go to support the Whatcom Parks and Recreation Foundation.

What a Lineup! What a Festival! What a Great Time!

The North Cascades Bluegrass Festival is proud to announce the band lineup for its 2022 “Third Times a Charm Keep You Fingers Crossed I Hate Covid” Festival!

Come join us as we welcome most of the bands that were originally scheduled to play at our 2020 and/or 2021 festival including the Kody Norris Show, Rebekah Speer, Special Consensus, the Blue Canyon Boys, Lonesome Town Painters and Runaway Train. We are also pleased to announce that joining us this year will be the IBMA's 2021 Momentum Band of the Year, the Stillhouse Junkies!

Tickets will go on sale in the 1st quarter of 2022. And even better...they will be at 2020 prices!

We need you...or at least someone like you!

CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS!

Have you ever dreamed about being a volunteer at a high-powered and influential Bluegrass Festival??

If so, we have two suggestions for you:

1. You should probably stop eating those pickled jalapeno peppers right before bedtime

and

2. Run, Don’t Walk to the following link https://ncbf.fun/volunteerinformation/ to learn more about volunteering at this year’s North Cascades Bluegrass Festival.

Besides doing something good for mankind, if you work enough hours and brag about the festival to your family and friends, we will even let you in to the festival for free!

Sincerely,

Your pals at the NCBF.

PS – Thanks and a tip O’ the Tam o’ Shanter to Johnny Smith for use of his song title.

PPS – In complete candor, we have not yet received George Clooney’s volunteer application – which is too bad because we think he would be great at checking wrist bands and coolers! A position for which, by the way, we currently have openings. If anyone knows how to get in touch with George, be sure and pass this posting on to him. Or, better yet, have him get in touch with our Volunteer Coordinator, Sharon Alford at [email protected]
