Ow wOw meOw (Ow wOw mEoW ) is on tour with their anti-folk puppet opera, LET THEM EAT MELON 🍉 , a puppet show inside a watermelon, inside a stomach, looking at themes of microbial ecosystems, health autonomy, death and decay, and connecting systems of the body to systems of ecology and politics. Equal parts hilarious, grotesque, and beautiful.

Fake Sick (Joel Skavdahl / Daniel Clark ) is a flamboyant noise-pop duo of childhood best friends making a melodious cacophony for it’s own sake. Joined on this tour by Briana Marela on bass.

Dreaming of Nowhere (YUNG DREAM DYING ON THE FLOOR SO WHAT ) is the debut performance of a new cyber-rap solo project tearing into our world from a trans-femme anti-futurism.

LAQ Artist Residency Showcase 🐶🚀

Please join us in the LAQ warehouse movement studio for a work-in-progress showing, culminating the April Artist Residency of Portland-based musician and multimedia artist, Amanda Berlind.

Amanda will perform a reduced version of her latest comedic theatrical piece, ‘Hal Goes to Muleshoe, Texas’, featuring new compositions as well as masks and costumes developed during her residency this month.
