Territorial Whatcom County Courthouse
Welcome to the oldest brick building in Washington, built in 1858 and fully restored. Available for weddings, meetings, group tours and other events.
Dear friends,
It is with much personal regret and yet great optimism that we have sold the Territorial Whatcom County Courthouse.
The new owner has restored three other buildings in Bellingham, so is very committed to historic restoration and preservation. It appears also that the new ownership will not need to rely on rental income to be maintained.
Although we have loved having the building host numerous events, we felt it was in the best interest of the building to transfer ownership to someone we know will care for the building long term.
Thank you to all who have supported and used the Courthouse this last year.
