🎉 Exciting news for the Whatcom Family YMCA's Youth Institute Program and youth arts programs across Washington State! 🎉

We're honored to be included in an amazing cohort of 10 organizations selected to receive funding through Allen Family Philanthropies' $5 million Creative Youth Development grant!

This investment recognizes the power of creativity to help young people discover their voice, build confidence, strengthen leadership skills, and deepen their connection to community.

Through creative experiences, the Youth Institute Program supports teens in developing skills, perspective, and agency to imagine and shape a bright future full of possibilities. This funding will help us expand the program and provide year-round creative opportunities and support.
