Have you tried A'Peel yet? They are serving up refreshing summer smoothies at the Bellingham Farmers Market! Best of all, every smoothie comes in a certified compostable cup, helping them comply with the City of Bellingham's Single-Use Plastic Ban. 👏
Do you operate a restaurant, food truck, or pop-up in the city of Bellingham? Need help understanding the Single-Use Plastics Ban? Our Toward Zero Waste team is happy to help! 💚 For a limited time, qualifying businesses may be eligible to receive up to $500 in compostable or durable materials. Look for the link in our bio to learn more.

In the month of April alone, 1,284 single use items were reduced thanks to all of you bringing your own cup (BYOC)! ☕
Many cafes even offer a discount when you BYOC, meaning you can save money while reducing waste. Next time you head out for your favorite drink, remember to BYOC!
Big shoutout to the Coffee Crawl participants who helped us track data and support waste reduction efforts in Bellingham:
