When people ask why we’re so passionate about Authentic Australian Labradoodles, stories like this are the answer.

Bocephus, a 1 1/2 year old Sandcastle Labradoodle, recently showed the incredible loyalty, intelligence, and devotion these amazing dogs are known for.

When catastrophic flooding surrounded and flooded his family’s home, while Bocephus and his sister were home alone. His mom and dad rushed home to wade through chest-deep water to rescue their two beloved dogs. Once safely near the family vehicle, Dad set Bocephus down to open the car door
Bocephus had a different plan in mind! Instead of thinking about himself, his safety, Bocephus did what came naturally. He ran back into the floodwaters, straight to him mom. Bocephis wasn’t leaving without his mom!

Thankfully, everyone made it safely to higher ground, but their home suffered devastating flood damage, and they now face the difficult journey of rebuilding - without benefit of insurance. The insurance company stated flooding is a natural disaster and not covered!!!

Bocephus, and Bella, who saved her mom from a bear attack are one reason we devote so much of our lives to preserving the authentic, multigenerational Australian Labradoodle. These dogs were purposefully developed to be exceptional companions: highly intelligent, remarkably intuitive, eager to please, and deeply bonded and devoted to the people they love. They don’t just become pets. They become family.

Every Sandcastle Labradoodle is raised with love, careful socialization, and a commitment to preserving these extraordinary traits for generations to come.
