*COURTESY POST*
Meet Fendi!! She is 7 years old and 55lb stunning lady!
Fendi loves going on walks(but prefers to hold her own leash) her next favorite thing to do is go on car rides! This girl will absolutely cuddle you as much as she can, she loves side scratches and scratches behind the ear. Although she loves her collection of toys, you may find her keeping some of your spare socks as anxiety chew toys.
Fendi is very protective of the people she loves and some of her belongings(toys, pillows, blankets) because of this I would avoid honing with another dog and avoid being homed with smaller children who may not understand dog behaviors. She needs to be an ONLY dog,
She gets along with cats, no known health issues and walks well on a leash.
Fendi is located in Salisbury, MD. Anyone interested in Fendi please contact her owner directly at [email protected]

Join us in wishing Reggie a very Happy 1-Year Gotcha Day! โค๏ธ๐
Today, this handsome boy is living the life every bulldog deservesโsurrounded by love, comfort, and a family who adores him. Stories like Reggie's remind us why rescue matters and why every life is worth fighting for.
Happy Gotcha Day, Reggie! We are so grateful you got the happy ending you deserved. Here's to many more years of love, snuggles, and adventures! ๐พโค๏ธ
His family writes:
I wanted to send a very quick update as we just celebrated our "gotcha day" with our beloved Reggie(Reginald). Reggie continues to be the goodest boy and steals the hearts of everyone he encounters. He now spends his days lounging by the pool or by your side(he was born to cuddle). He loves his walks and greeting people with a wagging nub. He is also a professional taste test and glad to help or supervise while meals are made. We are so grateful that he came into our lives and absolutely adore him.

Tallulah is an 8-year-old spayed Bulldog who has spent her entire life as a cherished family pet. Sadly, she has outlived both of her beloved owners and, through no fault of her own, is now searching for someone new to love.
Tallulah weighs about 50 pounds, house trained, is up to date on all vaccinations, and is in good health. She does require eye drops and has seasonal alopecia, but these conditions are easily managed. She currently eats Royal Canin Bulldog food.
This sweet girl is well-mannered and easy to live with. She isn't a jumper, doesn't get on the furniture, and enjoys a relaxed lifestyle. While she'll happily go for a walk, she's just as content spending time in a fenced yard soaking up the sunshine.
Because she has always been an only dog, Tallulah would prefer a home where she can continue to be the center of someone's world. She would be fine with children as she is not a jumper and takes treats gently.
After losing the only family, she's ever known, Tallulah deserves a soft place to land and a person to call her own once again. If you can open your heart and home to this special girl, please email us at [email protected] & be sure you have an application on file with us. Tallulah is located in Northern NJ.

๐ฅ๐ฅIT'S HOT๐ฅ๐ฅ
โ๏ธ When Is It Too Hot for an English Bulldog?
English Bulldogs are one of the breeds most at risk for heat-related illness. They can overheat much faster than other dogs, even on days that don't seem excessively hot.
๐ก๏ธ How Hot Is Too Hot?
Below 70ยฐF (21ยฐC): Generally safe with supervision and plenty of water.
70โ75ยฐF (21โ24ยฐC): Use caution. Limit strenuous exercise, especially in the sun.
75โ80ยฐF (24โ27ยฐC): High risk. Keep outdoor time brief and avoid walks during the hottest part of the day.
Above 80ยฐF (27ยฐC): Dangerous for many bulldogs. Outdoor activity should be kept to an absolute minimum.
Above 85ยฐF (29ยฐC): Very dangerous. Bulldogs should remain indoors in air conditioning except for quick bathroom breaks.
90ยฐF (32ยฐC) and above: Heat stroke can occur within minutes. Avoid outdoor activity altogether.
Remember: Humidity makes it even harder for bulldogs to cool themselves. A warm, humid day can be just as dangerous as an extremely hot day.
๐พ Why Are English Bulldogs at Higher Risk?
English Bulldogs are a brachycephalic (flat-faced) breed, which means they cannot cool themselves as efficiently as dogs with longer noses.
They are at greater risk because they:
Have narrowed airways that make breathing more difficult.
Rely on panting to cool down, but pant less efficiently.
Often have a stocky, heavy build that retains body heat.
Can quickly become stressed by heat, humidity, or overexertion.
May have underlying breathing or heart conditions that increase their risk.
๐จ Signs of Overheating
Watch for these warning signs:
Excessive or frantic panting
Thick, excessive drooling
Bright red or very pale gums
Rapid heartbeat
Weakness or difficulty walking
Vomiting or diarrhea
Glassy eyes or confusion
Collapse or inability to stand
Seizures or unconsciousness (medical emergency)
๐ What To Do If Your Bulldog Overheats
If you suspect your bulldog is overheating:
Move them immediately to a cool, shaded, or air-conditioned area.
Offer small amounts of cool (not ice-cold) water to drink if they are alert.
Wet their body with cool water, concentrating on the belly, paws, and neck.
Use a fan to help cool them.
Do NOT use ice or ice-cold water, as this can cause blood vessels to constrict and make cooling less effective.
Contact your veterinarian or the nearest emergency veterinary hospital immediately. Even if your dog seems to recover, heat stroke can cause delayed damage to internal organs.
โค๏ธ Prevention Is the Best Protection
Walk early in the morning or after sunset.
Always provide fresh, cool water.
Never leave your bulldog in a parked carโeven with the windows cracked.
Keep them indoors with air conditioning during hot weather.
Avoid vigorous play or exercise on warm days.
Bring cooling mats, shade, and water if you're outside.
Watch your bulldog closelyโif they seem tired or begin panting heavily, it's time to head inside.
When in doubt, keep them cool. English Bulldogs would much rather enjoy a nap in the air conditioning than risk a life-threatening heat emergency. A few extra precautions can make all the difference and help keep your bulldog safe all summer long. ๐ถโค๏ธ

Hope is a beautiful 2-year-old English Bulldog who was born both deaf and blind. Through no fault of her own, she has already experienced a great deal of change. After her family divorced, a kind hearten family took her in about six weeks ago to keep her safe while helping her find the loving home she truly deserves. Unfortunately, they do not have the financial resources or experience to provide the specialized care Hope needs.
Hope urgently needs to see a veterinary ophthalmologist, as her one blue eye has become clouded over. She will also need blood work, vaccinations, and to be spayed. MidAtlantic Bulldog Rescue will cover all of her medical expenses. We can also offer some transport assistance to a reasonable distance (Hope is located in Tuxedo Park, NY) & our volunteer who met this sweet girl is happy to answer any questions you may have.
Hope would do best as an only dog or with one older, calm, easygoing dog. Because she relies so heavily on routine, touch, and companionship, she needs a home where someone is home most of the time to help her feel safe and secure.
Despite her challenges, Hope is an incredibly sweet little girl. She is 100% wee wee pad trained, loves affection, and simply wants someone to make her feel loved and protected.
We know we're asking for someone truly extraordinary, but we also know that extraordinary people exist. Hope has so much love to give, and she deserves the chance to spend the rest of her life in a home where she will be cherished.
If you believe you could be the special person Hope has been waiting for, please email us at [email protected] & be sure you have an application on file with us. Together, let's give this amazing little girl the happy ending she deserves. โค๏ธ๐พ
