For anyone who needs a quick history lesson, this thing is an absolute legend. It's a limited-production (2,200 in 93), high-performance SUV built right on the 2-door GMC Jimmy platform, and it completely rewrote the rulebook for what an SUV could do in the early '90s.
Back then, the Typhoon’s straight-line speed was mind-boggling—we’re talking about a truck that was frequently beating contemporary Ferraris, Corvettes, and top-tier sports cars in stoplight drags.
