What began as a mysterious collection of marble pieces tucked away beneath a tarp turned out to be a remarkable piece of Beloit College history: the Class of 1919 Victory Fountain.

More than a century after students dedicated the fountain to honor classmates who served during World War I, it has been restored and given new life outside Morse Library. A symbol of remembrance, reflection, and the enduring values that connect generations of Beloiters, the fountain reminds us that the lessons of the past still ripple into the present.

A Beloit student didn't just take classes; they built one. 🌍 Ray Broad '26 designed and co-taught an entirely new course called Introduction to Worldbuilding, rooted in the idea that the world we live in can be reshaped into the world we want.

A great day on the green for a great cause. 🏌️ The 2026 Buc Open teed off at the Beloit Club this weekend, bringing together our community to support Beloit College.
