Did you know Hereford cattle has roots back to Downton Castle in Herefordshire County, England? Thomas Andrew Knight, one of the few landed gentry back in the 1700s, was totally dedicated to improving the Hereford breed. He encouraged many small tenant farmers at Downtown to improve their Hereford cattle too.

We raise Hereford and Angus cattle to finish on grass. We have managed our pasture with first fairy cattle, and now beef cattle, for over 34 years. Both the cattle/breed and the pasture/soil have to work together to make the tastiest, most tender and healthy beef.
