THE LEAP OF FAITH - FROM HEAD TO HEART

Today on a call, I challenged someone who is used to making decisions from their head, to make a big decision from their heart.
​
There is something so exciting and liberating about following your heart and I love that I keep meeting more and more women making the transition from head-centric to heart-centric leadership…even when it feels scary.
​
Here’s what I believe is possible with this heart-centric leadership:
​
❤️‍🔥 Ease: heart-led leadership asks us to create from soul-level desires that ignite a passion so deep that there’s endless ​ energy to create, yet also asks us to nurture every part of our lives. This means growth feels like putting the star peg in the star hole: there’s work, but there’s no force.
​
❤️‍🔥 Radical Innovation: Our hearts often call us into something greater than we have experienced before. It forces our minds to think outside of the box and create possibilities where none existed before. This is what leads to radical innovations like the invention of the airplane and automobile, or a network of work-from-home mothers getting paid to honor their passions and their mothering.
​
❤️‍🔥 Holistic Fulfillment: I’ve never heard a woman speak a desire that doesn’t honor every part of her. I’ve never heard a mother speak a desire that doesn’t somehow positively impact her children.
​
❤️‍🔥 Sovereignty - The head is conditioned by the outside world. Its job is to use its own conditioned knowledge to create solutions, which means it makes outside-in decisions. The heart is connected to Source and makes decisions without regard to current cultural paradigms. The heart is the part of ourselves that is capable of true sovereignty, self-authorship, and makes inside-out decisions.

❤️‍🔥 Magic: Magic exists when something happens that doesn’t make sense logically. In essence, the head cannot comprehend magic, so it must be born from the heart.
​
❤️‍🔥 Conscious Community: When more and more individuals lead their lives from their heart, consciousness expands. Heart-centric goals, visions, and dreams bring to light and shatter paradigms that limit us as a culture and thus lead to the expansion of consciousness at the community level.

The Power of Pleasure in Wealth

With somatic work, the industry often talks about feeling through uncomfortable emotions and the hard work of healing.

But what about pleasure?

When You can see if you freeze, flee, or appease in your relationship with money,

[you know, do you freeze, flee, or appease when it’s time to pay a bill?]

The next step is to create a plan for when you notice that pattern emerging.

By turning towards the fear-inducing scenario with conscious awareness of how your body is responding,

And by deciding what to do when, and if, the nervous system response starts to “take over,” meaning you get “stuck” in behaviors of distraction or anger, even though you know that’s not what you want to do.

One plan for jolting the body out a response is to follow what feels pleasurable for you.

One client felt the drudgery of the “have to” behaviors of the appease response when it came time to send out proposals for work. This looked like thought stories of “you’re not good enough if you don’t do xyz” in your business.

My client knew that sending out proposals with this thought-story would not create the most powerful results, so instead of continuing in the cycle of appease, she asked, what’s the craziest and best-feeling thing I can do right now?

And she went out and did it. (It wasn’t creating proposals!)

This completely shifted her out of the “have to” response and made space for inspired action.

When she returned, she felt energized and internally motivated to create powerful proposals from inspiration.
