At the recent State of the College Address, COCC President Dr. Greg Pereira shared a look at how the college is driving economic growth, embracing diversity, and navigating the challenges of serving a 10,000-square-mile region.

📈 Huge Economic Impact: COCC generates $349.2 million annually for Central Oregon, and 1 out of every 41 jobs in the region is tied to the college!
🌍 Growing Diversity: The student body continues to reflect the community, with over 16% of students coming from a Latino/a or Hispanic background.
💼 Workforce Evolution: With an average student age of 25.3, COCC is a hub for individuals re-careering and gaining tangible skills through lifelong learning programs.
💰 Investing in Students: Over 51% of students received financial aid in the 24-25 school year (totaling over $22M), and the college secured nearly $8M in new grants for future expansions.
