🐕 I typically dont tan rabbit hides because I don't really have a use for them... unless I get like 50 or more. I kinda want to make a blanket at some point. Someday.

For now I make dog treats. 🐰 After butcher I tend to freeze them in a bag. Then when I've got time (or need space in the freezer) I'll thaw them in a sink full of hot soapy water. Wash well and cut into chunks. Dehydrated at 155⁰f for 8+ hours. The 🐇 fur is a good for digestion and can help in parasite prevention. Also really good for dental health and enrichment.

There are like 5 apps I could download to do this. Ok, well there are worse things. I try the first one and it wants my phone number and email and is unable to work without connecting my email to their app.

F**k off.

I don't want anything connected to my email because I don't trust google to actually control what information they give out*.

So I paid at the little station instead.

How do you store your cheese?

🧀 I bought a half wheel of gorgonzola (4.64lbs) for $25.94 ($5.59/lb). Much better than the $1oz at Fred Meyers here in town. 😳 I divided it into 7 wedges and am freezing them because I love bunny burgers with bacon and blue cheese. 😋

Im giving in and got out my little foodsealer that I haven't been using because we tend to rotate through the freezer things fast enough. Well, we did atleast. 😅 I noticed a few things getting freezer burned last time I cleaned the freezer so now I need to use it. I really hate using these things because they take so much more time and on anything with any kind of mosture! Its just a big mess and honestly kinda gross. Ill use this for dry goods but I think I'm gonna have to invest in a chamber vacuum sealer soon. 🙄

🐰 Tiger Lillys first litter of kits are growing up nicely. Shes feeding them well and she hasn't lost any kits or her condition. Shes a keeper even if she is a huge spaz. 😂

🍌 Had 6 bananas nobody touched and some pecans... made a bunch of muffins. 😋 They freeze well for about 3 months.

🐇 Still trying to decide how many rabbit does do I actually need. 🤔 Its hard to make plans when I know the world has gone to 💩 and that food shortages are coming.

Ive currently got 9 does and 3 are going next process day with 4 other grow outs and me with a full freezer. This leaves me with 6. Do I need 6... probably not, but will my neighbors need me to have 6? *sigh*
