Family Kitchen is thrilled to partner with FREAK’N ART and Open Space Event Studios to launch special benefit event “NOURISH” in conjunction with the inaugural Bend Block Party on June 26th and 27th. Proceeds from the event will benefit Family Kitchen’s free community meal program!

NOURISH showcases the incredible talents of 18 Central Oregon artists, whose works invite us to explore what it truly means to nourish the soul, the body, and our community.

A new era has arrived for Family Kitchen!

To celebrate our 40th “birthday”, we’re thrilled to share the visuals of our rebrand with you!

This week, we’ll be unveiling a beautiful new suite of designs, a birthday present from the local branch of the digital agency People People Studio.

This update is rooted in connection, care, and good food, with the “heart-beet” icon being the center of our refreshed identity. The new color palette is rich, nutritious, and appetizing, evoking fresh, wholesome ingredients, while the red serves as a nod to our organization’s history, connecting where we’ve been with where we’re going.

We look forward to the next 40 years of service in our community. Stay tuned for more updates!

In the months that we have been sharing these lists, you all have shown up in a HUGE way. These may seem like random lists of items, but when they’re donated, they come together to complete our delicious and nutritious meals. We’re currently serving ~12,000 meals per month, so we appreciate each and every donation - it really adds up!

Thank you to everyone who has shared these posts, brought food by the kitchen, or otherwise helped us feed our neighbors ❤️
