Harvey Theodore Craig- 4/14/1946 - 9/30/2024. This photo was taken 365 days before my father passed away. It was a typical day for us, chiropractor appointment in Dover-Foxcroft, went and visited Uncle Keith in the nursing home, then went for a ride. Harv’s whimsical directions took us down a familiar back road, then one only he knew, through tall grass and tree branches we rolled. Eventually we found this spot, just as he remembered it. The next year saw his Parkinson’s journey intensifying, but we didn’t really see the final steep decline until it was upon us. Thanks for everything, dad. You did the best you could in life, right up until the end. So glad we could be here to share these last years, and your last breaths.

Working on the mountain is great but this project below the base area is easily the most fun we’ve had all year. Carter and I turned this old log yard into a little flow trail that’s ready to be enjoyed by riders of all abilities traveling from the base area down to the outdoor center. Also loop-able via West Branch for skill/giggle progression. We just wrapped up, trail is closed for a couple days to dry out but if the weather stays good it’ll be rideable soon! Thanks to trail boss Josh for dropping some sign posts by, now we just need a name… Trance E-lite for commuting and flow check duty!
