Some hopeful news for Central Oregon. This year's Point in Time count showed a nearly 20% drop in people experiencing homelessness across Crook, Deschutes, and Jefferson Counties and the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs.

Our Executive Director, Eliza Wilson, who also chairs the Homeless Leadership Coalition, says it is the largest year-over-year decline she has seen in more than 20 years. New shelters, more shelter beds in Madras, Bend, Redmond, and Prineville, plus rental assistance and case management, all played a part.
