Administrator Appreciation Week Spotlight: Heather Jeffers, MSW, GMHS, LNHA- Bend Transitional Care

We asked Heather about her leadership philosophy and her vision for the year!

🗣 What does leadership mean to you?
"Leadership is about empowerment. A great leader doesn't just direct - they guide, support, and create an environment where others can thrive. My philosophy is built on trust, empathy, and open communication. I believe in listening to my team, understanding their strengths, and providing the resources they need to succeed.
For me, leadership is a continuous journey of learning and growth. It's about leading by example - demonstrating integrity, accountability, and a commitment to personal and professional development. When we approach leadership as a partnership, we can overcome challenges and celebrate our shared successes."

🗣 What's your vision for this year?
"My goal is to take our team and outcomes from great to exceptional. That means fostering a culture where empowerment, growth, and excellence are at the forefront. I want to challenge my team to push beyond their limits, reject complacency, and set a new standard of achievement. At Bend Transitional Care, we're not just meeting expectations - we're redefining them."
