We had an AMAZING adventure today! Started the day with caffe and cornetto. We took the train to Vernona and met with our friends and went to see Duran Duran in the Arena at Verona. It was a surreal experience to sit on 2,000 year old stone seats trying to fathom the experiences of the millions of others who had done the same. We are so appreciative they invited us to join them. Happy 100th to Grandma Alma! ❤️

We are in California with family celebrating my grandmother’s 100th birthday! She is an amazing human being, and I am a better person because of her being in my life. ❤️

Fresh pasta and homemade sauce is on the menu tonight! I used our chittara to cut the pasta. We’re adding wild morel mushrooms to the sauce that were foraged and given to us by a dear friend.
