A registration plate may be transferred to one of the following:

- Spouse
- Parent or child (this includes step-parents, parents-in-law, step-children or children-in-law)
- A vehicle leased by an individual
- A sole proprietorship by the sole owner of such business

Registration CANNOT be transferred between siblings, aunt/uncle to niece/nephew, grandparents to grandchildren.
