⚠️ Fire Truck at the Playground

Event Cancellation ⚠️

Due to the forecast for heavy rainfall and the potential for hazardous weather conditions this afternoon, today’s Fire Truck at the Playground event has been cancelled.

The safety of our community, especially our children and families, as well as our firefighters, is our top priority. With the possibility of heavy rain and emergency responses throughout the township, we have made the decision to cancel today’s event.

We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing everyone at our next scheduled Fire Truck at the Playground event. Stay safe, and please use extra caution if traveling during today’s weather.

Bensalem Township has received a significant amount of rainfall, and several roads are experiencing flooding.

Do NOT drive through flooded roadways.

It only takes a small amount of moving water to sweep a vehicle away, and you cannot always tell how deep the water is

NOTICE:

Fireworks are not permitted in parks and playgrounds or on township property.

Bensalem police and fire officials strictly remind residents that private fireworks must be used at least 150 feet away from any occupied structure. Setting off fireworks on public property (including streets and parks) is strictly prohibited, and Bensalem officers heavily patrol to ensure compliance with state and local laws.
