After scrambling Halloween night to try to remember how I formatted my past zines, & being so tired, & not mingling with hardly anyone at Philly Zine Fest the next day, I've decided that I will be doing Zine-A-Day 2026 for my Fun-A-Day project this coming January.
I've had so many ideas before,
& after discovering some zine YouTubers for some more insight, my brain exploded with even more ideas.
I'm just not going to go as crazy with it like I did last year with Film-A-Day. The days in January I go to a show or paint, that will be my fun for that day. Last year I managed to have 31 movies & 31 "things" for each, in addition to shows & whatever else. It was a lot of fun, but I was exhausted. While I want to dedicate time to making more zines, I'm not going to let it consume me & make 31 separate ones for each day. I might make simple short ones some days, & I might make more in-depth ones that take a few days to produce.
Any which way, I'm excited to create, & determined to see this daily zine project through.

Personally I don't care about football.
But seeing the city lit up in green last night in person made me proud to be a native Philadelphian.
I hope the Eagles win tonight because it will make others happy.

January 31st's Film-a-day was the 2010 Action-Comedy "N**e Nuns with Big Guns."

TW: mention of r*pe & SA

What do you get when you cross a movie about a drug & prostitution ring within a Catholic church doing business with a local gang of thugs?
You get this sh*ttastic movie. The entire idea is just ridiculously over-the-top & laughable, & the one-liners are great. I will say though that there is a lot of r*pe & SA, as well as graphic violence & s*x scenes, so it may be triggering to some folks, esp the r*pe & SA part. While it wasn't triggering for me personally I still had to turn away at times because it was too much. The lead he**ine of the story, Sister Sarah, has had enough of this bu****it. Overall I liked it minus the excessive SA.
They left it open for a sequel, but don't hold your breath because it's been 15 years, I don't think it's happening.
