Our Story

Hello, and welcome to my page! Glad to have ya! I’m Kim, owner of Blackberry Cottage Soaps, Between my husband and I, we have six adult children and thirteen grands!! We are loving life living by KY Lake, and when we are not at work, he is a tow boat captain and I am a nurse, you can often find us somewhere in our camper! WE LOVE CAMPING!

I started making soap, and bath/body products just as a hobby and to help save a couple extra pennies here and there. I gave some to friends and family and it just took off from there. After lots of research and testing of products, I started selling to the public. It has been a whirlwind of a ride! I make every product out of my home as I do not have a storefront, (goals!). We are all the time looking into adding new products to our line up, or just ways to improve or add to our current products. The possibilities are endless!

Our products are made with the best ingredients to ensure you receive the highest quality product, I can possibly provide. I use local ingredients whenever possible, like our goat milk, honey and florals to go in and on our products. We know your skin is very important, we strive to provide the best possible products, to make you comfortable with what you are putting on it. Our products do not only provide a purpose, like to clean and soothe your skin, many of our products provide that much needed relaxation, even if it is just for a few moments while taking a hot bath.

Our products range from handmade soaps to products for men & women, children’s products and products for the home. Our products are available at several local businesses or through our page. Simply send us a message! We also offer custom made gift baskets to suit any budget as well as ship anywhere in the US.
