Did you know that 21 of the country's biggest brands are headquartered here in New Jersey? I didn't either but here's the list ... impressive brands with high recognition.

N.J. companies claim membership to the 'billion dollar brands club' The biggest brands across the nation were put to the test, and 21 New Jersey companies made it into the 'billion dollar brands club' as some of the most valuable brands in America.

Century 21 continues to be the most recognized brand name in real estate since 1999, according to the 2013 Ad Tracking Study conducted by Millward Brown.

This is all the more admirable given that the brand consists of independently owned and operated offices. To ensure brand consistency, someone there must be doing a great job of brand management, probably Bev Thorne, chief marketing officer.

Congratulations on sustaining such an achievement over a fifteen-year period.
