Premier of "The Housemother", new production from Bama Ivrit / Jewish Circle Theatre! Play by Hillel Mittelpunkt. Performed in Hebrew with English supertitles.
In a small town near the Dead Sea, this drama tells the stories of five characters, escaping into their illusionary worlds. Each one is in search of connection and recognition. A mother and daughter are trapped in a dark family secret. A nostalgic grandfather embraces a precious box of pictures and memories. A divorced father is hoping for a fresh start. A charming flimflam lover is on the hunt. Each story is bound within one person's relentless reality and unfolds with humor and heartbreak, but also offering renewed hope for another chance and fulfillment.
