Big news for clean energy! โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ”‹

Despite the recent rolling back of major federal climate tax credits under the OBBBA, a brand-new study from MIT shows that the U.S. solar and battery storage boom is "not doomed."

In fact, thanks to falling technology costs and massive market demand, MIT models show that nearly 75% of the clean energy expansion we expected over the next decade is still on track to happen. Green energy is no longer just a policy goal, itโ€™s winning on pure economics. ๐Ÿ“ˆ๐ŸŒฑ

Big things are happening in Mill Valley! While this stunning home undergoes a major remodel, weโ€™ve stepped in to ensure its energy infrastructure is just as modern, sleek, and efficient as its new design. ๐Ÿกโœจ

We equipped the home with high-efficiency REC Solar modules for maximum power generation and a sleek look, all managed seamlessly by a Tesla Inverter. For ultimate backup security, we installed two Tesla Powerwall 3 batteries, providing massive storage capacity and reliable whole-home power during outages.

Thinking about remodeling? The construction phase is the absolute perfect time to integrate solar and battery storage into your home's ecosystem! โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ”‹

๐ŸŽ†Happy 250th Birthday, America! โœจ

Today, as our nation celebrates a historic Semiquincentennial milestone, we are also pausing to reflect on our own journey. Our company opened its doors exactly 50 years ago, meaning we have had the immense privilege of powering American communities for a fifth of this nation's incredible history. โ˜€๏ธ

When we started out half a century ago, solar energy was just a bold, futuristic dream. Over the last five decades, weโ€™ve watched that dream grow into an American innovation success story, lighting up homes, businesses, and neighborhoods in the California Bay Area. ๐Ÿก๐Ÿข

Independence has always been at the core of the American spirit, and for the last 50 years, weโ€™ve been proud to help Americans achieve a new kind of energy independence. By harnessing the power of the sun, we are building a cleaner, stronger, and more self-reliant future together. ๐Ÿ’ช

Thank you to our amazing customers, partners, and team members who have trusted us to keep the lights on for the past 50 years.

Have a safe and happy 4th of July! ๐ŸŽ†

The numbers donโ€™t lie: The rapid expansion of clean energy is actively making the power grid more resilient. โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ”‹

Despite forecasts for a scorching summer, the latest grid reliability assessment shows the U.S. power grid is in significantly better shape than last year. The credit goes to a massive boom in new infrastructure: 30.5 GW of solar and 16 GW of battery storage added over the past year alone, proving that clean energy is doing the heavy lifting to keep the lights (and air conditioning) on.
