Hey everyone! HumanityHacks is a hackathon for girls in Santa Clara, on August 18-19, focused on applying tech to the humanities and social issues.

Participants will enter categories: Music, Literature, Art, Social Activism, Economics, and Culture. Girls with no coding experience are welcome! Byte-Sized is excited to attend Agents of Change's 'Equality in STEM Symposium' which will be at Bascom Community Center on January 28th from 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm.

Come listen to high-profile women speakers from Silicon Valley companies such as Apple and Google and stop by at booths setup by local STEM organizations like Byte-Sized and GirlsWhoCode! The event aims to bring more diversity into STEM, and is targeted towards ANYONE interested in the field.

SheEO is excited to launch ElevateHER Pitches! This year, we have partnered with AI4ALL to launch an elevator pitch competition for students in 6th-12th grades. If you decide to enter the competition, you’ll be eligible to win up to a $100 gift card, and all participants will receive a SheEO laptop sticker. There will be three winners, and your age will be taken into consideration.
